Position: Technical Advisor (Building Physics, Fire, Acoustics and Energy Efficiency)
Type: Permanent
Location: Dublin/Hybrid
Parker Stewart are partnering with a major construction and manufacturing organisation who are looking to hire an experienced Technical Advisor. This role will be based in Dublin and it will on a hybrid basis. 
A key function for this role is to provide support in the areas of Building Physics, Fire, Acoustics and Energy Efficiency.
Key Duties:
  • Handling of Technical Sales to internal and external customers, including active promotion of full product ranges
  • Support sales & specification teams (work with specifiers, merchants, builders and representative bodies on all matters relating to building systems
  • Proficient utilisation of industry tools, including but not limited to BIM, Cad, U-value calculator, Thermal modelling and WUFI/Hygrothermal analysis software
  • Professionally develop and maintain a working knowledge of Safety, Building Regulations & other directives, regulations and standards
  • Consultation with Architects and other industry professionals
Experience & Qualifications Required:
  • Relevant construction professional qualification
  • Strong ICT skills (particularly Microsoft Office)
  • AutoCAD, Revit (desirable)
  • Demonstrable strong technical experience within the construction industry
  • Minimum 5 years' Technical support experience in business to business (b2b) sector
