We are looking for a Account Manager to join a leading European provider of sustainable corrugated packaging solutions. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, this role suits a commercially driven and relationship-focused individual who enjoys managing existing accounts while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities within targeted market sectors. The role: Manage a defined sales territory, focusing on the growth and development of existing customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Build strong, long-term relationships with prospects and customers through a consultative sales approach, actively listening to customer needs and recommending appropriate packaging solutions. Drive sales across assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and broader business objectives. Collaborate closely with internal teams across sales, design, planning, production and logistics to maximise operational efficiency and deliver a high standard of customer service. Consistently achieve and exceed individual and company sales targets through effective account management and new business development. Candidate profile: Excellent relationship-building skills Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Ability to generate new business by targeting and identifying market areas aligned with business strategy Skilled in closing sales and providing tailored business solutions to meet customer requirements Structured sales approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Numerate and commercially astute Organised and professional in attitude, conduct, and appearance PC literate, competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point Background in packaging or experience selling into FMCG, food & drink, or pharmaceutical sectors advantageous but not essential Location: Leinster Region Salary: Competitive Job Ref: 9527 EK Skills: FMCG Packaging Brand Account Executive Account Manager Business Development Territory Sales
