Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker at our Monaghan location. The role involves providing personalized care and support to young residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, supporting children in their developmental goals, administering medication, and maintaining a safe and healthy living environment. Collaboration with other team members and adherence to health and safety standards are also integral to the position.

Salary/ Benefits

• Starting Salary of €30000 a year depending on experince.
• Yearly increments of €1000.
• 30 days annual leave a year which increases 1 day a year up to year 5 of employment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Manual Handling practices and adherence to Health & Safety standards
• Strong Interpersonal Skills to effectively communicate and build positive relationships with young residents and colleagues
• Experience in Patient Care and Medicine administration
• Ability to provide compassionate and individualized care for teenagers
• Flexibility to work on a roster basis, including weekends and holidays
• First Aid certification and experience in residential childcare or a similar role are considered an advantage
