Medical Service Engineer (Workshop & Field) Location: Co. Wicklow / South Dublin Border Salary: €Open to graduates and senior professionals (DOE) Contract: Full-time, Permanent We are conducting a confidential search for a Service Engineer on behalf of a leading Irish distributor of advanced surgical and clinical equipment. This role balances workshop-based repairs with field installations and hospital support. Key Responsibilities Service & Repair: Lead workshop diagnostics and repairs on high-definition surgical imaging, laser systems, and thermal management platforms. Technical Support: Provide remote troubleshooting and technical guidance to hospital clinical teams and biomedical departments. Field Operations: Manage on-site installation, commissioning, and validation of new clinical infrastructure across Ireland. Compliance: Execute scheduled PPM and reactive repairs to rigorous medical safety and manufacturer standards. Candidate Profile Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electronic, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering. Experience: Proven bench or field service experience, ideally within medical devices or high-tech electromechanical systems.
