Optic Media is a fast-growing social media marketing agency working with hospitality, healthcare and service-based businesses across Ireland.

We specialise in:

We are now looking for a Social Media Marketing Assistant to support the growing client base and help scale operations.

This role is ideal for someone ambitious who wants hands-on agency experience and exposure to real client work alongside other freelance or part-time work they are currently undertaking.

Role Overview

You will work directly with the founder to support content planning, scheduling, community management and campaign preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly content planning for client accounts
• Schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook & TikToK
• Write engaging captions aligned with brand tone
• Assist with Canva/Adobe graphic creation
• Organising content folders and client assets
• Trend research & competitor analysis
• Supporting occasional on-site content creation

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Instagram and social media trends
• Experience using Canva/Adobe/CapCut
• Strong written communication skills
• Highly organised and reliable
• Interest in marketing, branding and digital growth

Bonus (Not Essential):

• Photography / videography knowledge
• Comfortable on camera
• Hospitality marketing experience

Pay

Freelance contract.
