Snr. Electrical Engineer Role Specification, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of MV and LV switchgear; conventional and intelligent Motor Control Centre's (MCCs); Variable Speed Drives (VSDs); transformers; UPS systems; generators; and power factor correction equipment. Responsibilities MV and LV power system design. Execution of projects within a multi-disciplinary 3 D design environment. Power system studies including short-circuit calculations, system analysis, and protection coordination/discrimination studies. Design of electrical installations in accordance with IS, EN, and IEC standards, covering power distribution, lighting, cabling, cable containment systems, Cat 6 structured cabling, fire alarm systems, earthing, and lightning protection. Strong understanding of inter-disciplinary design workflows and coordination. Experience working with process, piping, and mechanical design packages and integrated 3 D models. Qualifications & Experience Holds a Degree, Chartered status advantageous. Pharmaceutical industry experience highly desirable; candidates with commercial project experience will also be considered. Over 10 years experience as an Electrical Engineer. Proven track record in delivering electrical engineering designs within budget, schedule, and quality constraints. Experience working on large-scale projects. In-depth knowledge of electrical design principles and engineering practices. Extensive knowledge of ETCI Wiring Regulations, IEC standards, and EN standards.
