Buyer (Food / Protein) Location: Kildare | Full-Time | Permanent Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 DOE + Pension & Benefits The Company A well-established and growing food manufacturing business supplying major customers across domestic and international markets. Operating within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, the company has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and supply chain excellence, with continued investment in its procurement and commercial teams. The Role This is a key commercial role within the supply chain team, focused on sourcing, supplier management, and market analysis across core product categories. Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and pricing negotiations Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchasing in line with production needs Analyse market trends, pricing movements, and supply risks Support pricing strategies through data and market insights Work closely with sales, production, and R&D teams Prepare reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal stakeholders Support wider procurement and supply chain activities as required The Person Experience in a buying, procurement or supply chain role Background in food, FMCG or related sectors (meat experience beneficial but not essential) Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Good analytical ability with confidence working with data Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills The Package €50k - €70k salary depending on experience Pension Healthcare Location: Kildare Please contact Susan Daly for more information Skills: buyer procurement purchasing manufacturing food and beverage Benefits: pension healthcare
