QA/QC Inspector Roofing Location: Midlands (Covering projects throughout the Midlands & West of Ireland) Salary: €55,000€65,000 DOE Job Type: Full-Time | Contract initially for 3 months Reference: BSSCAT1 47250 About the Company BSS is recruiting on behalf of a leading roofing contractor delivering commercial and industrial roofing projects throughout Ireland. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to oversee quality standards across multiple live projects. The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure all roofing works are completed in accordance with the company's QA/QC procedures, client specifications and manufacturers' installation requirements. This is a site-based role covering projects throughout the Midlands and West of Ireland. Key Responsibilities Carry out regular QA/QC inspections on live projects. Monitor roofing installations to ensure compliance with company quality standards. Complete inspection reports and maintain QA/QC documentation. Identify defects, manage snag lists and ensure timely close-out. Attend site meetings and liaise with Site Managers, Contracts Managers and clients. Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and manufacturers' recommendations. Promote a strong quality culture across all projects. Requirements Previous QA/QC, Site Management or Roofing Supervisory experience. Roofing, cladding or building envelope experience is highly desirable. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Full clean driving licence.
