We are looking for an experienced Lead Plumber to join our growing heat pump and renewables team. This role involves installing high-quality heat pump systems in domestic and commercial properties. Work will be based across Cork and Kerry, so flexibility and a full clean driving licence are essential. You will take the lead on-site, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Responsibilities: Manage, motivate, and support a team of plumbers, apprentices, and other trade professionals Plan daily work schedules, organise materials, and coordinate with other trades on site Act as a professional and approachable point of contact for customers and internal teams Carry out commissioning, testing, fault finding, and optimisation of heat pump systems Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and SEAI standards Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner Share your experience by mentoring and training junior team members Qualifications & Experience: Qualified plumber with recognised trade certification Full, clean driving licence is essential Minimum 5 years experience in plumbing, with proven leadership or supervisory experience Experience installing heat pump & Solar systems is essential Heat pump, renewable energy, or SEAI-related certifications are highly desirable Salary is open to negotiation , based on experiences along with a company van. This is a permanent, full time position with travel to client sites in Kerry and Cork. Skills: Plumbing Team Leadership Training Attention to detail
