Key Responsibilities Oversee and enhance Product Governance frameworks in line with regulatory requirements. Manage product and service approval processes from proposal through to approval. Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation of governance and compliance changes. Assess product-related risks and maintain governance reporting, metrics, and risk indicators. Conduct product lifecycle reviews and post-implementation reviews, escalating issues where required. Review product distribution, sales, target market, and complaints data to identify emerging risks. Prepare governance reports and present findings to relevant committees and senior stakeholders. Provide guidance and challenge to business units on regulatory, conduct, and operational risk matters. Support oversight of third-party manufacturers and distributors. Deliver Product Governance training and support regulatory reviews, audits, and inspections. Requirements 5+ years' experience in Product Governance, Compliance, Risk, or a related financial services role. Strong knowledge of financial products and regulated financial services environments. Understanding of Product Governance, conduct risk, and customer protection principles. Knowledge of MiFID II and related regulatory requirements is advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional qualification or relevant industry experience desirable.
