WE ARE HIRING FOR A NIGHT PORTER AT THE GLASSHOUSE HOTEL

We're seeking a reliable and attentive Night Porter to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the hotel during night-time hours, maintaining security, assisting guests with late check-ins or requests, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and service. Shifts are 4/5 nights per week, including weekends 11pm - 7.30am.

The Role

• Ensuring all check-in & check-outs are completed efficiently
• Excellent customer care is given to all guests
• All queries are dealt with in a timely manner
• Cleaning of public areas & ensuring hotel is ready for the following days business
• Helping in the bar, doing room-service pizzas & drinks, setting up breakfast & assisting with breakfast service & early breakfasts
• Setting up of Conference rooms
• Running night audit
• Printing & checking reports
• Preparing of Invoices for guest departures

How will you stand out from the crowd?

• Experience in a similar role as Night Porter within the hospitality sector
• Proven customer care skills
• Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential as telephone work is required
• Able to work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public
• Knowledge of Hotsoft or equivalent Front Office system is desirable
