The Role

The Health and Safety Co Ordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards and regulations within the organization. They will assist implementing with policies, procedures, and programs to maintain and improve QSE performance. The role involves collaborating with various departments to promote a culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility in line with corporate policies and local legislation. Reporting into the General Manager your key responsibilities will be:

Responsibilities

Ensuring regular checks, daily, weekly, and monthly etc, in the document library are current and up to date e.g. DOC 315 end of day shut down, DOC 610 PPE issue record.

Support the General Manager and the local Management team in achieving H&S objectives as agreed out by the Executive Leadership Team.

Maintain QSE management systems in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Conduct regular audits on the above (once a quarter) and inspections to assess compliance with QSE standards and identify areas for improvement and update the GM on a regular basis e.g. weekly basis.

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong knowledge of QSE standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local health and safety legislation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Problem-solving skills to investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
