Summary
Northside Family Resource Centres Sunshine Childcare Service, Riverside Early Childhood Centre and Moon and Stars Afterschool Service continue to develop and promote good practice with the child as the focus of all we do. Working with either the Early Years Management Team or Youth and Afterschool Management Team the Worker will have responsibility for the day-to-day care and education of children attending the service.
Northside Family Resource Centre: Early Years (Fulltime/Part-time) and Afterschool Workers (Part-time)
Early Years and Afterschool Workers
Applications are invited to apply for the post of Early Years and Afterschool Workers.
Hours of Work
Part-time (Early Years and After schools) and full-time (Early Years) posts are available Monday to Friday. The Early Years Workers will be available between 08:00 and 18:00 and the Afterschool Worker between 12:20 and 18:30. A qualified Early Years Worker may request fulltime across both services.
Family Friendly working arrangements will be considered including reduced working hours, term time etc. where practical.
Salary
The salary scale is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates should refer to the Early Years Salary Scale. This is a guide only and the final decision about salary rests with the Voluntary Board of Management.
- QQI Level 5: No less than €28,800 per annum pro rata
- QQI Level 6 with experience: No less than €30,000 per annum pro rata
- QQI Level 7 with experience: No less than €32,800 per annum pro rata
Holidays
Twenty-five days per annum pro rata, 2 privilege days (Christmas Eve and Good Friday) plus public holidays.
Vetting
In accordance with The National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012 to 2016, E-vetting will be a requirement for the successful candidate.
