About the role:
Contract Type - Full Time Permanent. Working Hours -Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9 am - 5:30 pm, occasional out of hours. Location - Dublin 7, Smithfield / Hybrid Remote
Dublin Simon community is ending homelessness for people every single day. Corporate partnerships income is a key driver in achieving this, enabling Dublin Simon Community to deliver services that rebuild lives for people experiencing, or in danger of, homelessness.
About the Person:
The successful candidate will be an experienced and engaged fundraiser with the ability to meet ambitious income targets and grow corporate fundraising through intensive pipeline management and delivery of a strategy for sustainable engagement with corporate partners. The successful candidate will be an experienced and motivational people manager and a creative thinker who has the ability to identify and maximise new fundraising revenue streams. We are also keen to talk to candidates with a background in B2B sales management who are interested in pursuing a values-driven career in fundraising.
Key responsibilities:
- Build capacity with further development of the existing sales and pipeline strategy to grow income and engagement with existing and potential corporate partnerships.
- Lead the team in realising ambitious targets in donor acquisition, development and engagement and embed a robust tracking and reporting process on defined KPIs.
- Be an effective influencer and motivator to engage effectively with existing and potential partner organisations to maximise relationship value for the benefit of Dublin Simon Communitys client and services.
- Work in collaboration with other members of the fundraising team to drive the Fundraising Strategy for the organisation and maximise positive interdependencies and strategic opportunities.
- Develop relationships across the organisation to identify and support the development of opportunities and touchpoints that will enhance the success of corporate income generation and other opportunities.
- Ensure best practice and governance across all areas of corporate partnership operations.
- Be a champion for the values of the Dublin Simon Community brand.
- Effectively manage the strategic and operational activities of the Corporate Partnerships team and empower the team to excellence through positive career development using strategies such as regular one to one and team meetings, goal setting and supervision.
- Deploy effective and ongoing business development strategies to the Corporate team
- Effectively manage income and expenditure budgets.
- Manage and maximise income for high profile seasonal campaigns like House of Cards and corporate relationship fundraisers like WOW for Simon.
Essential Criteria:
- Three to five years experience in fundraising or B2B sales.
- Proven track-record of high-value acquisition and a track record of leading teams to success.
- Good networking and influencing skills with a focus on achieving positive outcomes from interactions.
- The ability to present to large groups and be the public face of Corporate Fundraising at a range of events.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and deploy strategic and tactical plans.
- Effective problem solving skills and the ability to work quickly, efficiently and to tight deadlines.
- An excellent track-record in relationship management and the ability to build impactful relationships with our donors and strategic partners.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM software (Salesforce) - ability to mine and analyse data with purpose of developing prospect lists and targeting lapsed donors
- A degree or equivalent in a business, marketing or relevant discipline (desirable).
