Apprentice Electronic Security Technician

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and an apprentice electronic alarm system engineer/s to join our team. The ideal candidate/s should have electronics/electrical experience and be willing to learn about alarm systems. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Company van will be provided.

Candidates will preferably be based in the vicinity of Cork City or North Cork.

Fluent English.

Responsibilities and requirements.

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security and fire alarm systems.
• Learn how to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electronic alarm systems.
• Learn how to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Learn how to use testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Learn how to program electronic alarm systems.
• Working at heights.
• Be well organised and careful with practical tasks.
• Using IT skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Working with hand tools and power tools.
• Lifting & carrying heavy items.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: Up to €22,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
