Client Service Advisor

What the day will look like Commercial Risk Solutions is currently looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Client Service Advisor to join our expanding Construction and National & Specialty Team. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, the Client Service Advisor will be responsible for client servicing of a range of accounts, with an ability to work as part of a team. Main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the management a portfolio of Construction, National & Speciality Clients within a pro-active broking environment
- Assisting in the management of clients renewals from start to finish, assisting with mid-term alterations, dealing with general day to day client and carrier queries and administrative duties pertaining to same
- Vetting insurance and supporting documentation against defined requirements/standards on behalf of Stakeholders
- Providing support to our designated claims team in the handling of insurance claims
- Providing assistance as required to colleagues across a range of general lines products
- Reviewing policy wordings
- Building strong relationships with clients, underwriters and colleagues through the delivery of a market leading service
- Securing and retaining clients by providing an excellent service
- Assisting the Construction and National & Speciality Team and other Aon colleagues to continually deliver an excellent service
- Participation in campaigns and sales initiatives to target new clients
- Expanding and sharing knowledge and capabilities
- Maintaining the utmost standards of compliance and adherence to broking best-practice
- Complying with all management audit requirements
- Other duties that may arise as the business requires
- Ideally some years of relevant broking experience
- Construction experience an advantage but not essential
- Comply, on an ongoing basis, with the minimum competency requirements laid down by the Central Bank, including but not limited to:
- To be CIP qualified (minimum) Progress to ACII (desirable)
- Meet the Central Bank Fitness & Probity standards
- Provide evidence of compliance with maintaining CPD hours
- Have a desire to improve knowledge across a range of General insurance products
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurers and colleagues
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with ability to work to strict deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to prioritize workload and deliver on objectives
- Have a strong customer focus and a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in Microsoft platforms i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
