Were proud to foster an inclusive environment driving innovation and excellence, and we welcome you to join us on our mission to shape the future of clinical development As a Contract Analyst at ICON, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and development of contracts and change orders for newly awarded and ongoing clinical research projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with ICONs operational, legal, and commercial teams, gaining hands on experience in clinical trial contracting within a global organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and coordinate contracts and change orders, including Start Up Agreements, for new and existing projects.
- Manage multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery.
- Collaborate with operational, legal, and sales teams to determine appropriate terms and conditions for inclusion in agreements.
- Participate in on the job training to develop knowledge of ICONs costing tools, budget templates, and client-specific requirements.
- Request and incorporate feedback from operational departments during contract development.
- Create cash neutral payment schedules in line with project requirements.
- Work closely with the assigned Contract Manager to flag issues requiring legal or senior management input.
- Maintain accurate, up to date records in Salesforce, ensuring clear tracking of contract status.
- Support the preparation and review of contract files, project budgets, and related documentation ahead of internal quality control checks.
- Communicate proactively with project teams and clients regarding contract and change order progress.
- Provide essential input for negotiations and discussions with clients, supporting Contract Managers, Sales teams, and Project Leads as needed.
- Attend client related meetings and assist with contract-related discussions and follow-ups
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 1-2 years experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data and templates.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong sense of professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and an interest in developing a career within clinical research or contracts management.
