ERP Solution Architect

Location: Dublin Job Type: Hybrid Work Type: Contract

Overview of Role

A public sector client has a contract requirement for an experience SAP specialist. This role will be focused on developing architectural road maps and transition strategies for SAP ECC to S/4Hana migration.

You will be responsible for;

• Leading the migration from on-premises SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4 Hana.
• Provide hands-on technical and functional expertise during the transition phase, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Work closely with ICT PMO to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Work with the ICT Test Team to ensure that the solution implemented meets testing standards.

Required Skillset

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an ERP Consultant or Solution Architect with a strong focus on SAP.
• Hands-on experience migrating SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA (cloud-based solutions preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules, including but not limited to FI, CO, MM, SD, and PP.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, Fiori, and HANA database technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, SAP Cloud, SAP BTP).
• Experience with integration tools and middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft).
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture tooling (e.g. Software AG ALFABET, ARIS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Certification in SAP S/4HANA or related modules is highly desirable.
