Healthcare Recruiter

Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Healthcare Recruiter to join our charity’s HR team. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for healthcare roles. You will build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure the charity attracts and retains high-quality staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for healthcare positions including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals through various channels such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create detailed job descriptions.
• Promote the charity’s values and benefits to attract candidates who are aligned with our mission.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and background checks.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and generate reports for senior management.
• Assist with workforce planning and contribute to recruitment strategy development.
• Keep up to date with healthcare industry trends and relevant employment legislation.
• Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the charity’s presence as an employer of choice.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in healthcare recruitment or a related recruitment role.
• Understanding of healthcare roles, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
• Knowledge of relevant employment law and best practices in recruitment.
• Empathy and commitment to the values of a charitable organisation.
• Degree or relevant qualification in HR
