Healthcare Recruiter
Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and driven Healthcare Recruiter to join our charity’s HR team. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for healthcare roles. You will build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure the charity attracts and retains high-quality staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for healthcare positions including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals through various channels such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create detailed job descriptions.
- Promote the charity’s values and benefits to attract candidates who are aligned with our mission.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and background checks.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and generate reports for senior management.
- Assist with workforce planning and contribute to recruitment strategy development.
- Keep up to date with healthcare industry trends and relevant employment legislation.
- Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the charity’s presence as an employer of choice.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in healthcare recruitment or a related recruitment role.
- Understanding of healthcare roles, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of relevant employment law and best practices in recruitment.
- Empathy and commitment to the values of a charitable organisation.
- Degree or relevant qualification in HR
