Portobello Institute is seeking a part time HR Manager to support our continued growth. In this role, youll play a pivotal part in shaping and contributing to the evolution of our HR function. As we build and scale to meet the dynamic needs of the business, youll have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact in a fast-paced and exciting environment. You will work closely with our senior leadership team and will be able to grow in this role as the business continues to expand.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with Senior Leadership to underpin the people culture within Portobello Institute and embed its values within its delivery model and how we lead and manage our people.
- Review existing HR operations and contribute to the design and delivery of the HR operation function. Maximising digital automation where possible.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive and execute successful delivery of all HR programs including performance management, career development plans, staff planning & budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coach and advise managers on complex HR matters including sensitive employee relations issues.
- Operate as an expert to the business on employee relations and employment disputes.
- Proven ability to analyse complex HR issues, develop innovative solutions, and make informed decisions.
- Operate as an expert with a strong ability to collaborate with all internal teams with a one team approach
- Serve as a point of contact for employees; helping them navigate professional issues that impact their work and career growth
- Lead day-to-day activities related to HR policies, processes, and programs specific to Portobello Institute
**Change Management**
- Experience in leading and managing organisational change and restructuring efforts.
- Adaptability and the ability to guide employees through transitions.
**Communication and Interpersonal Skills**
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organisation.
- The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

**What Will You Need**
- Minimum of 3+ years working experience at HR Manager level
- Experience within a busy SME environment is crucial - if you have grown and developed the HR function within this environment this would be an advantage.
- Deep understanding of HR processes, especially hands-on experience in people culture, performance management and employee relations
- Deep understanding of Irish labour laws
- Incredibly business savvy; can quickly develop the business sense to offer relevant HR solutions
- Assertive and humble; can overcome resistance and effectively manage change
- Fast-paced and action-oriented; can comfortably operate in ambiguity with minimal guidance
- A positive can-do attitude; can navigate through the challenges and find solutions
**Salary**
€55K - €65K pro-rata DOE.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
