Post Doctoral Researcher

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a fixed-term contract position as a Research Associate/ Clinical Trials Biostatistics Programmer to join the CRFG and Institute for Clinical Trials team at University of Galway. The position is available immediately and the contract is for 1 year initially, with potential to extend subject to project success and funding acquisition.This position is funded by a number of research grants. The HRB Clinical Research Facility Galway and Institute for Clinical Trials remit is to support and increase the amount of clinical research currently happening in Ireland. Clinicians undertaking research require clinical support e.g. nursing or physician resources, study advice, biostatisticial advice and data management. Biostatistics will be one of the key selling features to clinical researchers, biomedical companies and pharmaceutical companies.
