As Privacy Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team on privacy issues impacting Apples business and products globally. You will work directly with business and engineering teams to design innovative privacy solutions for products as well as across the legal department on Apple activities and regulatory issues. You will be responsible for advising and providing support on privacy-related topics for Apples various products and services and working alongside legal, engineering, and business teams. This role will primarily provide support to the Privacy and Law Enforcement team in EMEIA. Description - Assist with escalations regarding the handling of privacy complaints, queries and data subject rights. - Provide advice in relation to requests from courts and law enforcement agencies. - Respond to regulator inquiries and investigations. - Support compliance and auditing frameworks. - Assist with drafting of and updates to relevant policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-7+ privacy experience in a law firm, business, or regulatory environment.
  • Knowledge of comprehensive privacy laws, and regulator and other guidance and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, including in English. Additional European languages are a plus.
  • Proven ability and commitment to work both independently and collaboratively with numerous people at all levels throughout the company.
  • Sound business judgment and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs change.
  • Demonstrated ability, in a positive, commercial, and practical manner, to identify, prioritise, and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
