Seasoned Barista with Expertise in Coffee Craft

Fruition is looking for a full-time highly skilled Barista & Till Operator with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our Fruition team at IMMA (Irish Museum of Modern Art). Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
  • Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
  • Conduct daily machinery checks, including grinder calibration and espresso machine maintenance
  • Follow standard operating procedures for cleaning and upkeep of all coffee equipment
  • Ensure smooth till operations, handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace

What Were Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of barista experience in a fast-paced café or specialty coffee shop
  • Barista, coffee, beverage training
  • Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing, and latte art
  • Expertise in various brewing methods (pour-over, Aeropress, cold brew, etc.)
  • Experience operating and maintaining professional coffee equipment
  • Understanding of daily grinder calibration and machinery maintenance
  • Previous experience handling tills and customer transactions
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in Ireland (Stamp 4, Stamp 1G, or EU citizenship)
  • Full-time availability
