At Tile Merchant we want our sales teams to help our customers find the perfect products for their home within our relaxed showroom environment where our customers can browse and be assisted in an enthusiastic and knowledgeable manner by our sales team.

Do you have an interest in Interior design? Bathroom renovation? Or Garden design? Working for Tile Merchant in this role will allow you to assist customers bringing their interior design dreams to reality, everyday!

Were looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team in the building materials sector.

What youll do:

  • Build strong relationships with trade and retail customers
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of building materials
  • Process orders efficiently - in-person, over the phone, and online
  • Help maintain stock levels and ensure product displays are appealing and up to date
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction

What were looking for:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in building materials or construction supply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
  • Basic computer skills (EPOS or CRM experience is a plus)

This role is in-person and based at our Tile Merchant Ashbourne Retail Park showroom.

Salary starts from €28,000. Candidates with previous experience in the industry may be able to negotiate a higher starting salary
