Talent Acquisition Specialist
Reporting to: Head of Human Resources Overall Objective: The primary function will be to support the full range of recruitment activities across the group to meet hiring needs. Works closely with Healthcare Managers, Directors of Nursing and Healthcare Direct Operations staff to understand staffing needs, anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify cost effective recruiting solutions to meet those needs. Work with the Talent Acquisition team to develop, initiate, and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies and other staffing related processes to attract qualified candidates to fill open positions. Critical to this will be the ability and acquisition of knowledge to keep up to speed with the changing trends in sourcing staff through social media channels and the use of digital marketing. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with interviewing, permit applications, compliance documentation, social media, and answering daily recruitment queries in a timely manner.
- Work with the various government agencies in obtaining work permits for overseas staff.
- Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment administration. This will include creating contracts of employment and offer letters, as well as creating and maintaining soft copy employee files.
- Working with our Care Centers and Healthcare Direct to define role requirements, identifying recruitment channels, sourcing, developing, and providing tools for the screening, interviewing, and assessing of candidates, monitoring pipelines through to candidate acceptance.
- Identify and attract potential candidates for our Care Centers and Healthcare Direct from a wide variety of on and offline sources (e.g. social networks, executive recruitment, developing networking channels etc.,
- Work with marketing on proactively managing the Mowlam Healthcare and Healthcare Direct careers webpage and general recruitment marketing strategy.
- Focus on continuous improvement and makes suggestions to improve the recruitment process, policies, and strategy. Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
- Work with recruitment agencies and vendors to support recruiting processes.
- Work with the wider HR Team to support the organisational HR agenda.
- Involvement in Recruitment and HR projects as required.
- Responsible for updating and refreshing vacancies on Candidate Manager (ATS).
- Assist in the preparation of Talent Acquisition reports and presentations.
- Third Level Human Resources/Recruitment qualification.
- A minimum of 3+ years experience in a similar role.
- Excellent Organisational and Communication skills.
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
- Strong Knowledge and experience of hiring processes including overseas staff.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the company.
- Role requires flexible hours and travel within Ireland.
