What is the opportunity?

The Delivery Frameworks function is a capability within the Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO) dedicated to supporting effective and efficient Change Delivery across the Bank. It leads the Banks framework for delivery of change and seeks to ensure that the processes and methodologies support the Groups chosen ways-of-working.

The Change Framework Senior PMO Analyst candidate will support the Head of Framework in building out and implementing the processes to support the Records Management objectives.

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for ensuring the quality of change-related documentation and data. They will devise and implement the various processes required to ensure continued adherence to the framework. Furthermore, they will play an instrumental role in recommending changes to the Framework, using a suite of suitable MI.

  • Devise and implement operational processes to ensure ongoing adherence to the framework
  • Work with the various other EPO teams to understand purpose and intention behind each change initiative to ensure end-to-end data lineage
  • Provide critical MI to Head of Frameworks in the overall adoption of Delivery Excellence Frameworks.
  • Regularly review issues to determine the root cause and working with the wider Frameworks team, see opportunities to address areas of the framework needing rework.
  • Train junior members of staff
Essential Experience

The successful candidate will have experience in project/change delivery with a broad knowledge of PMO operations. You will have an understanding of

  • Project Management Life Cycles
  • Software Delivery Life Cycles
  • Agile delivery

A clear dedication and experience in handling data and documentation systematically, coupled with an eye for detail, are crucial. Additionally, experience in process operations, robust problem-solving abilities, inquisitive and analytical thinking, and strong partner management and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.

More about the team

Group Change is responsible for end-to-end delivery of change across Bank of Irelands services. This function works closely with Bank of Ireland collaborators to shape and deliver change and enables the Bank to evolve its delivery capability to suit best how it serves Bank of Ireland customers.

DEX (the Delivery Excellence Framework) sits on Confluence and Jira platforms and is currently being rolled out across the banks portfolio of change as the framework within which all change is delivered. It includes process guidance, templates and workflows to support change delivery teams to manage scope from initiation right through the delivery lifecycle until they release to production. A separate system, Clarity, is used to record change initiative data e.g. landmarks, financials etc.

To ensure continuous adherence to the framework, the Frameworks team is building out a Records Management capability to identify, classify & store all documentation and data related to the delivery of change initiatives.

This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland
