We're looking for a Food Packaging Technologist to join our team and lead the way in optimizing packaging solutions for our food products.
Packaging isn't just about wrapping—it's about protecting quality, reducing waste, and driving cost savings. We're currently reviewing all raw materials and packaging options to consolidate, innovate, and deliver smarter solutions.

Key responsibilities
Management of packaging life cycle, including code creation, packaging workflow approvals in SAP, process governance and fostering strong collaboration with suppliers
Manage the technical relationship with our suppliers and assist with RD&A engagement when working on maintenance and new sourcing needs
Support new packaging code setup by collecting required documentation and coordinating technical details from suppliers
Lead efforts in standardisation of specifications, descriptions and codes in the area
Work with buyers in category rationalisation / consolidation efforts, acting as the technical lead for the activity
Maintain awareness of technical developments and industry trends
Provide strategic packaging insights, solutions, trends and new technologies to support our sustainability, continuous improvement and cost-saving targets
Assist the RD&A, Category and Integrated Operations teams with day-to-day packaging technical queries
Provide hands-on support to RD&A and site teams to validate new packaging formats and technologies
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering, Material Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related Science field is desired
Experience in the Food industry, within the Packaging or Supply Chain functions is preferred
Must have strong project management skills
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must have strong technical and problem-solving skills
Must be flexible to travel within Europe when project needs dictate
Must be able to adapt to an evolving and fast-paced environment
