Market Expansion Finance Operations Lead Technology Position Description Newly created position within a fast-growing Irish business expending internationally. Role will act as a key support to several business leaders and will report directly to the Finance Director. Key responsibilities: Expansion into New Markets supporting leadership team with practical-side of an aggressive international expansion plan. Statutory & Tax Compliance Mapping out local European compliance requirements, working closely with tax and accounting teams, documenting and coordinating new market entry compliance and operating requirements (Statutory Reporting, Tax Compliance, Payroll (processing, compensation equalization, cost of employment monitoring) and Risk Management). Leadership - Coaching and developing financial accounting and tax teams wrt finance operational requirements for new markets. Management Reporting to exec management team, Senior Operational Management team and CFO/ Finance Director. Stakeholder Management significant stakeholder management Group Reporting, Tax Advisors, HR, External Advisors. Supporting other areas of finance as company continues to grow and develop. Candidate Background Ideal candidate will have the following background: Qualified Accountant with a strong financial, compliance and tax understanding and minimum 5 years relevant PQE Strong academic track record Detail-oriented, energetic Strong report writing skills and communication skills Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment About Our Client Our client is a fast-growing Irish Technology company with an exciting and aggressive international growth strategy well underway, with ability to offer really strong career development opportunities.
