Clinical Operations Manager Location: Midlands & North East Ireland We are currently recruiting on behalf of a progressive nursing home group for an experienced Clinical Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership across two established nursing homes. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced clinical leader to play a key role in driving quality, clinical governance and operational excellence across both services. Working closely with senior management and the Directors of Nursing, you will support the delivery of exceptional resident care while ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. The Role As Clinical Operations Manager, you will provide clinical and operational leadership across two nursing homes, supporting management teams to deliver safe, person-centred care in line with HIQA standards and current legislation. This is a varied role that combines clinical governance, quality improvement, leadership development and operational oversight, making it ideal for an experienced Director of Nursing or Regional Clinical Manager looking to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership in clinical governance and quality assurance across both nursing homes. Support, mentor and develop Directors of Nursing and senior management teams. Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure services remain inspection-ready. Monitor compliance with the Health Act 2007, HIQA Standards, NMBI requirements and all relevant regulations. Oversee clinical risk management, safeguarding, incident management and complaints. Analyse clinical and operational KPIs including falls, medication management, infection prevention and control, staffing, occupancy and resident outcomes. Drive continuous service improvement through evidence-based practice and effective governance. Support workforce planning, leadership development and succession planning. Promote a positive culture focused on resident-centred care, accountability and continuous learning. Prepare performance reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. About You To be considered for this opportunity you will have: Current registration as a Registered General Nurse with NMBI. A minimum of eight years' senior nursing leadership experience. At least 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role such as Director of Nursing, Clinical Operations Manager, Assistant Regional Manager or Regional Manager. Strong experience in clinical governance, quality management and HIQA compliance. Excellent knowledge of the Health Act 2007, HIQA Standards, NMBI professional guidance and relevant healthcare legislation. Outstanding leadership, communication and relationship management skills. A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel between services. Desirable Postgraduate qualification (Level 9 or above) in Healthcare Management, Leadership or a related discipline. Previous experience supporting multiple residential care services. Additional qualifications in Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention & Control or Lean methodologies.
