As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in the full project lifecycle—from concept to completion—ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and exceeding client expectations on every project.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Innovative Design: Lead the creation of innovative designs for complex network infrastructure, pumping stations, and groundwater abstraction sites.
Technical Authority: Develop and compile critical project documentation, including in-depth feasibility studies, Multi-Criteria Assessments, site evaluations, specifications, and robust tender packages.
Regulatory & Planning: Manage the preparation of all necessary documentation to secure planning and regulatory approvals.
Multidisciplinary Coordination: Act as the central technical liaison, coordinating seamlessly with internal environmental specialists, technical experts, clients, and contractors to drive projects forward.
Project Leadership: Provide crucial technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, managing the preparation and quality assurance of all project drawings and technical inputs.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for the water sector.
Education: Minimum Level 8 third-level degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Sector Experience: Significant post-qualification experience, specifically within water sector design (networks, treatment, or infrastructure).
Technical Mastery: Deep professional and technical knowledge of water networks and infrastructure design principles.
Software Proficiency: Competence in industry-standard software relevant to water network design (e.g., hydraulic modelling packages, CAD).
