Our client, a growing business in Leitrim, seek a Finance Manager. You will have ideally be coming from a varied and hands-on finance role in an Irish business with exposure to the hospitality industry a preference but not essential, and currently hold a Finance Manager or similar role, although a strong Financial or Management Accountant with ambition to move to Finance Manager level, would also be considered, provided you meet the experience requirements. The role requires somebody with an interest in process and systems improvement, as well as being able to think commercially. You will lead a small team and work closely with the senior leadership team. There is a strong career path available for the successful applicant, and the opportunity to have autonomy and ownership in this role. The Role Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts. Prepare quarterly financial reports for presentation to the Directors. Coordinate and complete year-end accounts and audit preparation. Produce weekly cash flow forecasts Complete VAT returns and ensure submission to Revenue Prepare and submit all statutory returns (PAYE, PRSI, USC) Lead the annual budgeting process Prepare forecasts, Provide variance analysis Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and procedures. Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely resolution of any audit findings. Manage banking relationships. Oversee accounts payable function Oversee accounts receivable Ensure payroll is processed correctly and on time. The Person: Qualified Accountant 5+ years experience relevant financial management experience within an Irish business - exposure to the hospitality Industry would be a benefit but is not required. Strong experience with finance software packages and MS Office, particularly Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Collaborative style and an effective leader.
