The successful candidates will play a key role in empowering individuals to achieve their full potential, develop independence, and lead meaningful and fulfilling lives within their communities. The Role of The Assistant Support Worker is to provide care to people who avail of our service. We will support you in developing and upskilling you in providing high quality care, maintaining professional working relationships with our team members and people who avail of our service. We support people in reaching their full potential, to have a meaningful life through the supports of the services we provide to them. This will include the following on a day-to-day basis: Supporting individuals with planning and managing their daily activities and routines. Providing support to individuals while accessing and participating in their local community. Assisting individuals with education, skills development, and achieving their personal goals and outcomes. Supporting individuals to develop and maintain independent living skills, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and maintaining family and social connections. Maintaining a thorough understanding of, and adhering to, all Company policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice, as far as is reasonably practicable. Working flexible shift patterns across a 24-hour, 7-day service to meet the needs of the individuals supported. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals, families, colleagues, and professionals. A full driving licence is required, or candidates must be actively working towards obtaining one. Flexibility and reliability to work across a range of shifts in line with service requirements.
