What You Will Be Doing
Grow our business by strengthening relationships with existing clients and supporting expansion into new markets
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards
Lead / project manage all stages of projects involving the design, procurement, supervision, and certification of new Buildings & Infrastructure projects
Work as part of multi-disciplinary design teams in the delivery of Buildings & Infrastructure projects
Provide structural engineering technical expertise and mentoring young engineers
Provide a high-quality service to our clients in the Public and Private Sectors
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate for this role will have relevant experience in the engineering consultancy industry and will become a valued member of our Buildings & Infrastructure team. Key Skills & Attributes include:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work closely with Clients to achieve high levels of satisfaction and win-win outcomes
Project Management – Extensive experience in all aspects of delivering projects and programmes of work, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control. Experience of leading, coaching and training project managers
Possess a high level of technical capability and experience in the use of structural and civil engineering design software
Track record of working on Building & Infrastructure projects in a collaborative BIM environment
Experience in bid management is advantageous
Qualifications
A Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Level 8) as a minimum; a Masters qualification (Level 9) is advantageous
Associate = Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
Principal Engineer = Minimum of 9 years’ relevant experience
Chartered Engineer status (CEng, MICE or equivalent)
Hold a clean driving licence
