Position Overview
Corpay is looking to hire a Business Development Manager within the Cross border division, located in Dublin. The role involves engaging with business owners and C-level executives to understand their international payments needs, determining how Corpay can help them achieve efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and building new business opportunities. This position reports directly to the Sales Director and requires collaboration with internal sales teams.
Work Environment
As a Business Development Manager you will work in a hybrid environment. Corpay provides the following:
- Assigned workspace in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities
- Identifying business opportunities by sourcing prospects and evaluating their FX needs.
- Harvesting sales channels within the sales region as per the regionalised strategy and target markets, including business networking, exhibitions, sponsorship events, telephone solicitation, etc.
- Selling Corpay solutions using a consultative approach, fully understanding client needs, and presenting solutions based on their needs and explaining the value proposition.
- Managing client onboarding processes while maintaining an exemplary customer experience.

- Excited about working in the fast‑paced FX industry where global events and economic announcements impact daily conversation with prospects.
- Strategic‑thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit – approaches sales open‑mindedly.
- An interest in foreign exchange and finance.
- Proven sales and analytical skills for successful business generation.
- Previous outbound business‑to‑business phone marketing or sales experience is desirable.
- Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and build rapport.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated and focused, combined with effective organisational and time‑management skills.
- Professional demeanour towards prospective and current clients, coupled with strong listening skills.
- Ability to work as a team player towards a specific sales goal.
- Attention to detail, particularly with respect to client information and payment data, plus strong mathematical skills.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is €45,000 – €55,000 gross per year. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender‑neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications. Corpay maintains structured compensation practices and regularly reviews pay to support compliance with equal pay principles and applicable EU legislation. Additional compensation elements, including benefits and variable pay (if applicable), will be discussed during the recruitment process.
