Role Overview

ATG are working with a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Limerick, providing high-quality design and project delivery services across the building, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join a growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for civil, structural, and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to produce detailed design drawings.
  • Assist in the development and management of project documentation and drawing registers.
  • Maintain drawing standards and ensure consistency across all projects.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and contractors when required.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to design coordination.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a CAD Technician role within an engineering or construction consultancy.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, or other BIM software is a strong advantage.
  • Relevant qualification in CAD, drafting, or engineering (Level 6 or above).
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and detailing practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working on Irish or UK engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with document control systems and file management.
  • Interest in continued learning and upskilling in BIM and digital design tools.
Salary & Location

Salary: €65,000 to €80,000 Per Annum
