Job Title: Compliance Officer Location: Dublin City Working Model: Hybrid Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join our client within the captive and (re)insurance sector. This role offers significant exposure to regulatory engagement, board-level reporting, and oversight across multiple regulated entities. Working closely with senior compliance leadership, the successful candidate will support a growing portfolio of insurance and reinsurance clients, ensuring adherence to Central Bank of Ireland requirements while preparing detailed board reporting packs and regulatory submissions. This position suits a compliance professional from the insurance or broader financial services sector seeking strong exposure, mentoring, and long-term progression into a CF role. Your Role Prepare and coordinate board packs across multiple regulated entities. Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business. Support oversight of quarterly and annual regulatory returns. Act as Compliance Practitioner for assigned entities, attending board meetings and presenting reports. Escalate regulatory breaches or risks where appropriate. Maintain strong relationships with regulators, directors, and senior stakeholders. Contribute to compliance training and ongoing improvement initiatives. Your Skills Minimum three years' compliance experience within insurance, reinsurance, life, captive, or wider financial services. Strong working knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland regulatory requirements and GDPR. Experience preparing board-level reporting documentation. Highly detail-oriented with strong report writing capability. Comfortable researching and interpreting regulatory requirements independently. Professional Diploma in Compliance (or working towards) or relevant insurance/financial services qualification.
