Job Title: Compliance Team Lead Location: Dublin Working Model: Hybrid Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Compliance Team Lead to join our client within the insurance sector. This role will play a key part in embedding compliance standards across the business while providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to a compliance advice team. Reporting into senior compliance leadership, the successful candidate will support the delivery of regulatory advice, oversee workload allocation, and help strengthen compliance culture and practices across the organisation. This position is well suited to an experienced compliance professional with people management experience and strong regulatory knowledge. Your Role Lead, mentor, and support members of the compliance advice team, ensuring work is allocated and delivered effectively. Provide guidance to the business on regulatory requirements, internal policies, and compliance obligations. Oversee compliance with Fitness & Probity and Minimum Competency requirements, including procedures and record keeping. Support the interpretation of regulatory requirements to assist product development, marketing activity, and system changes. Develop, review, and deliver compliance-related training across the business. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to promote consistent compliance standards. Participate in projects related to new or evolving regulatory requirements and codes of practice. Your Skills Minimum five years' experience within an insurance environment, with at least two years in a compliance role and/or team leadership position. Strong knowledge of Irish regulatory requirements, including Consumer Protection Code, Minimum Competency Code, and Data Protection legislation. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and guide stakeholders constructively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Confident people leader with a proactive and collaborative approach.
