Our client are an international garden design, landscape build and maintenance company with over 25 years experience. They are based in Celbridge, Co Kildare and uniquely only focus on high end residential garden design, build and maintenance. They also have a six-acre nursery with a garden centre and café. Focused exclusively on sizable residential garden projects, they carry out all external works, hard landscaping, and planting with a focus on instant maturity.

Contracts Manager

We wound like to speak with a detail oriented and results driven Contracts Manager to join this team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contracts, ensuring compliance and delivering projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with the Design, Build and Garden Maintenance Teams, as well as with clients and subcontractors, to uphold high standards of quality and service.
Job Description:
· Oversee and manage contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring
compliance with terms and conditions.
· Collaborate with the operations teams to ensure project deliverables align with contract specifications.
· Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to protect company interests.
· Monitor project budgets, timelines and resources to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
· Prepare and review contractual documents, amendments and agreements.
· Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
· Ensure all regulatory and health and safety standards are met on all projects.
· Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress.
Key Accountabilities
· Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, handling any issues or complaints professionally and promptly.
· Assist the operations team in lead generation.
· Ensure that the quality of workmanship is always maintained to a high level.
· Liaise with Senior Management regarding employment and performance management of all staff.
· Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth business operations.
· Represent the company in a professional manner.
· Project team leader on each assigned site/project.
· Ensure adequate resources are assigned to each site/project i.e staff, equipment, materials.
· Monitor the financial performance of each project.
· Ensure that all necessary contractual correspondence is approved and issued.
· Attend management meetings and client meetings when required.
· Support all members of the team in all aspects of duties as required.
· Ensure all sites achieve company KPIs and objectives.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
· Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
· Knowledge of contract law and legal requirements related to landscaping and construction.
· Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
· Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· A degree in Business, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
· Honest and straightforward communication with both customers and team members.
· Full clean drivers licence
