Location: Early Years Headquarters, Belfast, BT12 6TA

Hours: 37 hours per week

Tenure: 12 Months

Salary: Points 29-32 (£40,443.90 - £43,532.22) per annum, pro-rata

The role

The post-holder will be a member of Early Years’ GDPR, Data Management & Cyber Security Working Group (the ‘DM Group’), and will contribute to the continuing development of the organisation’s approach to GDPR, Data Management & Cyber Security and prioritisation of actions.

Essential criteria

  • A degree in in a relevant discipline – such as Information Management, Information Technology, Business Administration.
  • At least 2 years’ of organisational-level responsibility for data management processes.
  • A proven track record of effectively and sustainably implementing data management processes across multiple departments.

Desirable criteria

  • Understanding of UK and EU data privacy laws and regulatory standards.
  • Knowledge of funder requirements for record maintenance. 
  • Experience of the sensitivity of working with personal data relating to children.
