Electrician A Fantastic Opportunity for ElectriciansElectricians are needed in Galway, Athlone and Tipperary for the ESB smart meter upgrade works program in order to align the economic, social, and environmental benefits of increased energy efficiency.Headquartered in Claremorris, Co Mayo with offices in Galway, Westmeath, and Cork, Electric Skyline founded in 2007, has built on solid foundations to become the leading lighting specialist in Ireland. The company is committed to growth, innovation, and the delivery of premium lighting expertise to all our customers.Role & ResponsibilitiesThe successful electricians will be a key member of the smart meters project team, adhering to procedures, focused on producing the best quality service, being highly productive, and mindful of costs. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, team-based environment. The role is to upgrade ESB meters in both domestic and small commercial premises.

Commissioning Checks / Recording Procedure

Meter installation records - pre-condition checks, DSRA, existing meter records, new meter records

New meter stock issue and recouping old meters

Meter Installation works - carrying out supplementary installs and covering customer appointments

Meter replacement fitting process and procedures

Cable fitting and termination procedures

PPE & HSE

Customer liaison

Site management to meet KPI requirements

Ideal Candidate :

Level 6 Qualified Electrician

Full Clean Driving License

Safe Pass
