Clare Salary: €42,000 €45,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Clare Waste is seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join our team at our workshop in Tuamgraney, Co. Clare. Key Responsibilities Operate workshop machinery including guillotine, brake press, band saw, ironworker, and plasma cutter safely and efficiently Set up welding machines, tools, and equipment according to specifications Weld components in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead) using different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards Carry out welding repairs when required Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards Conduct self-inspections and rectify issues where necessary Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Communicate effectively with the Workshop Supervisor and team regarding progress, issues, and improvements Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Fabricator in a workshop or manufacturing environment Proven experience as a Welder in a similar role Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques Proficiency with hand tools and fabrication equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Category B Driving Licence Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Abrasive Wheel training preferred Apply Now If you are a skilled Fabricator / Welder looking for a stable role with strong pay and varied hands-on work, we would love to hear from you.
