Role Overview Payac is seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Manager to join our Finance team. This is a pivotal role designed to support the Senior Finance Manager in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring robust reporting, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of the core financial function. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Financial Management: Oversee the full accounting cycle, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded, reconciled, and reported. Strategic Financial Reporting: Develop and deliver comprehensive monthly/quarterly management information packs that go beyond the P&L to provide meaningful commentary and trend analysis. Commercial Support & Analysis: Partner with various business units to interpret financials. System & Process Evolution: Lead the continuous improvement of financial systems and workflows to enhance the efficiency of our service delivery. Governance & Risk Management: Maintain a robust internal control environment, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations, tax obligations, and industry standards. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Take on additional finance-related tasks and projects as required by the Senior Finance Manager. What We're Looking For: Experience: Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with exposure to reconciliations and journal entries. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Technical Proficiency: Competence in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level). Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Communication: Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal. Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who is eager to learn, adaptable, and takes initiative. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
