Location: Cashel, Co. Tipperary Job type: Full-time, permanent on-site Our global client is looking to welcome a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. The successful candidate will report to the divisional Financial Controller and manage day to day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities: - End to end financial reporting; period-end close, prepare packs on P&L, balance sheet and cashflow analysis - Review journals, accruals and pre payments - Budget preparation, variance analysis - Overview of AP/AR function - Liaise with external stakeholders on statutory obligations (audit, tax) - Continuous process and internal control improvements Key Skills: - Technically strong Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years' PQE in financial preparation/reporting - Strong Excel and ERP systems experience - Excellent communication skills - Self motivated, ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
