A leading Financial Services group is seeking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to join its growing finance leadership team in Dublin.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth, entrepreneurial platform operating across property, energy, hospitality and investment sectors. The business combines the agility of a start-up environment with a strong balance sheet and significant capital backing.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers exceptional exposure to strategic decision-making, investment activity, and complex multi-entity financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and consolidated group reporting
  • Manage statutory reporting and external audits
  • Oversee corporation tax, VAT and payroll tax compliance (with external advisors)
  • Support investment decisions, financial modelling and due diligence
  • Manage treasury operations and banking relationships
  • Drive finance systems improvements, including the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Lead and develop a well-established finance team including AP, AR and payroll functions
  • Partner with operational teams across the group to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control
About You
  • Strong multi-entity group finance experience
  • Excellent understanding of Irish tax and statutory reporting
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
  • Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation projects is an advantage
