Power Platform Technical Lead

Due to planned investment in our digital transformation programme, we have a new opportunity for a Power Platform Technical Lead. This is a hands-on role focused on building high-quality Power Apps and Dataverse solutions, integrating data from a wide range of third-party SaaS platforms, and helping shape the foundations of a cross-business platform.

You will work closely with department leads and internal teams, supported by business stakeholders, to play a key role in delivering our first major applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and build of Power Apps solutions and Dataverse data models
• Integrate data from a wide range of third-party SaaS platforms, working directly with APIs and handling varied or inconsistent data outputs
• Work with internal teams, supported by business stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate these into clear technical solutions
• Sense-check proposed business structures and highlight potential technical risks
• Deliver working MVPs quickly and iterate based on feedback from users and department leads
• Build Power Automate flows and support automation initiatives to streamline processes
• Create reliable documentation, including diagrams and solution notes
• Develop reusable components and integration patterns as the platform evolves
• Contribute to shaping the DevOps approach, either owning it or collaborating with IT as the team grows
• Provide technical guidance and, over time, mentor future developers as the team expands

Requirements

• Strong experience building solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Dataverse
• Proven experience integrating with third-party SaaS APIs and working with JSON, REST endpoints, and data transformation
• Ability to design scalable Dataverse data models and build production-ready applications
• Experience delivering solutions in iterative, MVP-first environments
• Comfortable leading workshops and requirements sessions, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong analytical approach to problem solving
• Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment
