I am seeking a Project Manager with a background in Fitout on behalf of one of Irelands most reputable Main Building Contractors. This position is for a large commercial project. Excellent Salary + Package on offer for the right candidate. About the company: My client has established itself as the top Irish building contractors delivering high quality, sustainable construction projects across a range of sectors including Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Retail, Hotel, Education, Residential, and Healthcare. The have a long history and have established a very good reputation in the industry. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to; Project Management, in compliance with company policies, procedures and Building Regulations Chair Co-ordinate Site Meetings with the Design Team & Subcontractors Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and good building practice Monitor construction, with regard to quality of workmanship and materials Agreeing project objectives Representing the interests of the client and company Providing advice on the management of projects Making sure that all the aims of the project are met Making sure the quality standards are met Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained Agreeing programme and delivering the project in accordance with same Attending site meetings Making sure the project is running in accordance to the programme and on budget Delivering projects with the highest quality Working with the Health & Safety Department to ensure safety standards are met and exceeded at all times To be successful in your application you will possess the following; Ideally degree qualified with a Minimum of 5 years + experience as a Project Manager with Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK Excellent negotiation/communication skills, confidence in making decisions, and strong commercial awareness Excellent IT Skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Planning Software - Microsoft Project, Asta or the like would be an advantage.
