Role Description The Project Planner will support the planning, scheduling, and control of construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate, timely information for project teams and stakeholders. This full-time hybrid role is based in Ireland, combining on-site collaboration with clients and colleagues with the flexibility to work from home for designated tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining project schedules, updating progress data, and supporting delay analysis and project reporting. The role will involve working closely with project managers and project controls specialists to monitor risks, resource allocation, and performance against key milestones. The Project Planner will also prepare clear communication materials, such as reports and presentations, to support client decision-making and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong planning, Planning & Scheduling, and project timeline development skills.
- Solid Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret project data, identify trends, and support delay or variance analysis.
- Experience in Project Control, including progress measurement, risk monitoring, and reporting on cost and schedule performance.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or related sectors; consulting experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and familiarity with contract and claims processes is beneficial.
