Senior Agri Mechanical Design Engineer We are looking for an experienced Mechanical driven Design Engineer (3 years plus) with a background in agricultural engineering to work on innovative farm system layouts and product designs. The position requires strong CAD capability, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver precise, manufacturable solutions. The suitable candidate will be required to have : Strong experience in the design and layout of farm buildings and design for the animal flow Experience creating manufacturing drawings and being able to communicate job requirements clearly and concisely Read and interpret technical drawings, specify componentsand ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications Research and develop ideas for new products. Prototype through to test Communicating with Marketing and Sales Including other duties as needed and assigned R E Q U I R E M E N T S : Knowledge of the principles of design, sketching, CAD, industrial materials and processes, manufacturing methods,and engineering Creativity and technical knowledge are essential Strong communication skills - visual, verbal, and written Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Strong knowledge of the Agriculture sector Logically and technically minded with excellent organisational and personal management skills Knowledge of materials and ability to cost projects asrequired Incorporating the many disciplines in Mechanical Engineering. - incl Livestock handling, feeding and automated systems Animal welfare science, and safety Full clean driving license
