Supervising Pharmacist Location: Gort Rate: €45 per hour Overview We are seeking an experienced and professional Supervising Pharmacist to lead the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of a well-established community pharmacy in Gort, Co. Galway. This role offers an excellent hourly rate and the opportunity to work within a supportive, patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Act as Supervising Pharmacist in accordance with PSI regulations and standards Ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions, including controlled drugs Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and workflow management Supervise, support, and guide pharmacy staff Maintain full compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional requirements Provide high-quality patient counselling and professional advice Liaise effectively with GPs and other healthcare professionals Ensure accurate claims processing under state reimbursement schemes Promote excellent customer service and professional pharmacy standards Requirements PSI-registered Pharmacist (mandatory) Previous experience as a Supervising Pharmacist or in a senior pharmacist role Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to manage a busy dispensary efficiently What's on Offer €45 per hour Well-established community pharmacy Supportive and professional working environment Competitive rate reflecting responsibility and experience Immediate or flexible start available
