About Searsol:
Searsol delivers computer camps (www.searsolcomputercamps.com) for children. We require a Teacher / Tutor to deliver our computer camps over the Easter period starting Monday 14th of April for two weeks (Four days per week) excluding Good Friday and Easter in our Dundrum Centre.
Core responsibilities:
This role will be primarily focused on delivering the course :
- Setup course venue before students arrival
- Meet and greet Parents/children in a welcoming manner.
- Provide a positive environment so children can learn at their own pace.
- Engage with students so that learning is understood and followed.
- Ensure that the course curriculum is followed.
Required Skills
- Have teaching or tutor computer experience.
- Proficient with Google email and docs.
- Have good computer knowledge
- A positive attitude with good communication skills.
- Experience in basic coding instructions.
Desirable Experience
- Garda vetted and with child protection.
- Several years of Teacher / Tutor experience working with children from the age of eight onwards.
- Knowledge of touch typing, word processing, spreadsheets and presentation slides
- Training will be provided on how to deliver the course along with course contents notes.
